Týr (Tir - Tissø)

Bull (Tyr in Danish) found at Gudme dating to 400-500 AD.

Quotation from the Gylfaginning

”There is another member of the æsir called Ty. He is the most cunning and brave, and usually produces victory in battle. Warriors invoke his name to bring luck. There is an expression that a man is “ty brave” (as brave as Ty), who does better than others and is not afraid of anything. He is also clever and there is another expression to be “ty wise” (wise like Ty), who is the most clever.”
Snorri Sturluson, Gylfaginning, translated by Finnur Jónsson, published by Gads Forlag 1929.
